The last of London

Our last day in London has been great. We have really lucked out with
the weather; a little cool on the morning but not chilly, and warming
up by mid-morning to a comfortable high 70s. The locals keep telling
us that we've really lucked out to get such wonderful weather.

Our hotel is situated so it is easy to get around. The tube station is
a two minute walk at best, and there is a nearby grocery market and
several restaurants available.

We used the remaining time on our bus tour pass for transportation to
the Tower of London and then to take a site-seeing boat tour up the
Thames. The views from the water were great.

We continued on the bus to get back to the hotel. This was one of
those instances when my being cheap cost us a lot of time. However, we
were able to get some pictures today that we either missed or messed
up yesterday on the tour.

We grabbed some Internet after an early dinner so several blog posts
updated at once. I'm finding that It is best to write them when I have
time to write them and then get them posted when I can pop back on the
web. Blogger.com makes that part easy.

Next update will likely be from Dover.
